In addition to my post above I forgot two things - my graphics card is a voodoo 5 and I too have had the monitor graphics reseting after game crashes

Hi my system is:

AMD 1GHz
Soundblaster 1028 Live
256 RAM
Windows ME

I, too, have had the MC crash to opening screen both during game 1 and when trying to play game 2. I have also experienced the "Yugoslavia Player" issue...grrrrrr
