RE: TOAW IV or WITW

In TOAW iv much of the realism comes down to the scenario you play. Unlike the other titles you mention, the scenarios are (most of them) not designed by the developer of the game, but by "modders".

They've been on my wishlist since before they were actually published. Now if the Ukrainian Hryvnia would just stabilize for half a mo' i might actually be able to buy them!

Thanks to those who remembered me, commented in my old thread and e-mailed me. It was very flattering to be remembered like that. For those who weren't around back in the stone-age, here is a link to what I was up to: <URL url="http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m ...

RE: Beta Test

Regarding Danzig, perhaps the campaign setup can be improved with a Polish division or brigade deployed up there.

RE: Create GHQ vs HQ

<t> GHQ is a nations highest HQ. You are only allowed one of those (except Germany, which can have one eastern and one western GHQ). A GHQ will allow you to create army HQs. It will also have a few more CP's than army HQ's. The leader of the GHQ will give bonuses or maluses to any army HQ's within ...

I should be able to manage a turn a day most days. I'd like to play the CSA.

RE: Basic Info on War in the West 43-45

Even small fighter units based in a field needed some logistics to keep them going. IMO the new system simulates this better than what WitE currently has.

RE: What is the real status of TOAW?

As far as the Berlin project is concerned, I've not completely disappeared. I'm just waiting for the update and the promised increase in map size and number of location names allowed.

I'm most flattered that people still remember my little project though.[&o]

RE: Opponents in Europe

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to put the MP on ice for now though. Somehow doesn't feel right at the moment. Just read that Ukraine has ordered general mobilization for tomorrow. Everything is calm in Kyiv at the moment though.
