I love Matrix games and have bought the 1st Mega Campaign and eagerly await #2 and the great looking games from Gary Grigsy etc... But, I just bought Starships Unlimited a couple of weeks ago from Apezone with "unlimited upgrades". Now I hear that v2.3a is the last of these ...

It is an excellent game, but not a multiplayer game. I have only played Starships Unlimietd ver2.3a but unless there is a fundamental change in the style of the game, real time with pauses for orders, it can't be done. And it isn't an announced new feature.
