Sad to hear this news.

Prof. Erickson is seen a lot on the History/Discovery channels here in the UK (and i guess, worldwide). He always came across as being EXTREMELY knowledgeable and provided great insight into WW2 subject matter, especially when it came to the Ost Front.

I spend most of my spare time being involved with COMBAT MISSION related stuff, but i try and find time to enjoy other QUALITY wargames too -- and i class SPWaW as being one of them.

SPWaW Sound Patch ?

Could anyone tell me whether the SPWaW Stereo Sound Patch for v5.0+ is still applicable and intended for use with v7.1? It's a 200MB d/l and i just wanted to check first before downloading.

TIA

<t>Hi WB,<br/>
<br/>
Indeed, it is i, and yes, i should have listened to your words of advice a year or so ago about just how good SPWAW is. You were right of course! <br/>
Also, can i just say that your SPWAW scenarios are just as challenging and fun to play as those you have created for CMBO. <br ...

SP:WAW -- What a great wargame!

<t>I took the plunge and downloaded SP:WAW a few weeks ago after putting it off for ages. It took 2 days on a 56K modem, but it was well worth it -- wished i'd done it a long time ago!<br/>

Still learning the ropes and trying to read as many tactic and strategy guides i can get my hands on.<br ...

Increased screen res. ?

Are there any plans to increase the supported screen resolutions in any future releases of SPWAW?

TIA
