<t>I found this game about a month ago and, despite the fact that I don’t have an internet connection at home and therefore can’t play head-to-head, I have played it pretty solidly since then. Admittedly I do have the odd whole day when I don’t play a game but I played often enough ...

Group Fire button

<t>Firing weapons individually is ok but can be time-consuming. What would be nice, especially for things like multi-SRM-armed support titans, would be a button that allows you to fire off all the weapons on a titan at once – group fire. It would speed up the game. The program could be set to ...

Unfortunately, at the moment, I don't have a connection at home. I interact with this forum in free time at work so I can only go against the AI. Some day I'll get set up again and then I would give it a try. Thanks for the offer.

Fire Brigade?

<t>Had a strange thing happen last night. I had a light Titan knocked over in a burning forest hex. One of the AI’s kept on plastering him with SRM4s and knocking him back down. Then the engine shutdown and he kept on getting hotter and hotter. There was little I could do except draw off the ...

That's the way it’s written up there, in your post, in case *you* haven't noticed.

<t>I was thinking about this as I walked home last night. Lets use the game mechanics as you suggest, Iceman. Armour types are differentiated by Bulk and Weight. As you extrapolate gravity towards zero then weight also goes towards zero. So the thing which prevents you adding armour to a chassis is ...

<t>Yes you're right about the Titan design skill - I should have said chassis design. I am aware of the difference between mass and weight though. The problem is it's very difficult to cram a whole lot of explanation into a small enough space that you don't bore anyone to death. What you gain in ...

<t>Surely leg speed or cadence rather than gravity govern the speed of any given chassis? How fast can the actuators/pistons move a leg from the back of it’s stride to the front? That is not going to change in different gravity conditions. The fact that you plonk your Recon on a high-g world ...

<t>Excellent! I love that feature. I've made an executive order to myself that all future teams, no matter their size, will contain at least one recon Titan to scout ahead, check the bad guys out, and retreat out of there sharpish. I know that’s what you *should* do but you get all this money ...

<t>Build a Light Titan with Comp6, Scan6, Life1, Heat4, two AC4s and four MGs, ( I only have the design at home or I would past it here). This will allow you plenty of weight for armour. This thing will stand up well to punishment. After maxing out your 1st Jock for his Leadership, recruit another ...

Possible pathing bug

<t>I posted a message a few weeks ago about my AI ally hiding behind some mountains in ambush whilst I drew the enemy teams towards me (and him) and wondered if this was a programmed tactic. Well I’ve discovered that it may be a bug. My team, now richer and more skillful, had built up to ...

<t>Defensive/equipment idea - emergency fire-extinguisher - Weighs a couple of tons, plus one ton 'ammo' for each shot, drastically reduces current heat of own (or even friendly titan in same hex?). Engine explosion blast radius?

<t>What’s the effect radius of an engine explosion? I had one of my recons explode (trapped in a burning forest with damages heat although the pilot ejected successfully). Everybody close by took damage, but one titan was blown over at a range of three hexes and behind some hills, whilst ...

In order to counter the effectiveness of swarms of recon CC titans, how about a physical shield/buckler, whatever you want to call it. A big slab of armour that the jock can use to defend against CC attacks. Make its effectiveness dependent on the jock ...

Air Drops for the good guys?

I just played a 4 team battle. I was team 2 and after about 180 seconds team 4, my allies, got an airdrop of another couple of titans. Is this a fluke or has it happened to anyone else?

<t>I'm generally against self-destruct, but maybe could live with it if it wasn't a certainty. Say you initiate self-destruct and then the program determines whether the jock actually hits the switch OR just ejects normally. Maybe it's a random value determined at jock inception or maybe variable ...
