<t>Hmmm.....at the price I think I can afford to gamble on all three and let them fight it out on my computer for top ranking. <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> All the same, I think the Russian Front will lose its plastic first. Nothing as pleasing as watching Stalingrad burn under the barrage of ...

<t>I am finally ready for the Mega-Campaigns after lots and lots of training. <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> What all Megas are there out there and can anyone give me a personal reccomendation? I love to play the Germans or the Americans, but frankly will play any nation, any time if I the ...

<t>Some further experimentation shows that I can almost always purchase air support (strike or bombers) as the United States against Japan. As the US against Germany, or playing Germany, I cannot seem to find the option. Once, I think it was as the US versus Italy, I had the button available for ...

Strike Element and CAS

I have noticed since updating to v7.0 that I can hardly ever purchase air cover. Is anyone else finding this problem? I know that it is not always available, but it certainly seems to have almost dropped off completely since I updated. Anyone know of a way to fix this in the OOBs maybe?

Only problem I found with Imperialism was that after a few military engagements, they were all the same. No varying backgrounds, no varying terrain, no varying challenge. <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> Did they fix this with Imperialism II?

Well, I am not the moderator, but since I just accomplished it I think I can answer. <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> The answer is to post. Once you post fifty responses or topics you become a veteran. At least that is how it worked in my case.

<t>Hmmmm.....BBC reports that the virus can supposedly disable anti-virus software. I would have to assume that this is after you execute the file. Replication through the usual use of the address book in Outlook (which makes you wonder why people keep their contacts there since it is obviously so ...

I always have to wonder about anyone who would open an .exe or similar file that you get in an email and "simply must open". No matter who it comes from, virus scanners are an essential thing. Especially if you are low in the common sense department. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

SP:WAW for Linux

<t>I see a blurb on the download site that SP:WAW should run on Linux. I am guessing that this is through Wine or something similar, but have not made any attempts of my own yet.<br/>

I just recently started to play SP:WAW and frankly have become addicted. While my Windows box is more than ...

<t>SP:WW1 does sound like a great idea. I am relatively new to the world of serious wargames. In my teens we did play a few of the old Avalon Hill classics, but that was a dozen years ago now. After finding SP:WAW and its intense level of depth I am hooked. WW2 is always a great age for the war game ...
