RE: Interesting install

<t> Yes, Franciscus, that is exactly what I began to realize. After buying BOR, I was so impressed with the game that I decided to buy AGE too, but I thought I'd try one of the add-on campaigns first. When I realized the add-on wasn't going to run under BOR alone, I went ahead and bought AGE.<br ...

Interesting install

<t> I bought BOR first and it runs fine. Then I bought the Cantabrian expansion and found out it has to be installed to AGE. So I bought AGE and installed the Cantabrian campaign and both run fine. To my surprise, when I started BOR and looked in the campaign list, all the BOR campaigns were there ...

RE: Alea Jacta Est series is updated with v1.03

I ran the BOR 1.03a update. Installed okay, but the credits list it as 1.03 not 1.03a. Should it be 1.03a?

RE: Birth of Rome and Cantabrian Wars

I found out that only the original game AJE can handle the expansions. So this problem is solved and I will be buying AJE soon.

Thanks vonRocko, I finally became aware of that.

But no big problem. I really like BOR so I'm planning on buying AJE too.

Its a little bit messy as both AJE and BOR can function as the base game (as Missouri_Rebel says). So either can then carry all the none base dlcs (the Spanish, Parthian and Spartacus scenarios). The good thing is you have both, you ...

Two different games?

I just purchased Birth of Rome. I also purchased Cantabrian Wars but it will not load to Birth of Rome.
Do I have to purchase Alea Jacta Est also? Can I only load Cantabrian Wars to Alea Jacta Est?
When I purchased Birth of Rome I thought it contained Alea Jacta Est.

Hello,

Do you check the default installation path of Cantabrian Wars ?

Birth of Rome and Cantabrian Wars

I have AJE-Birth of Rome installed on my computer. I downloaded Cantabrian Wars but it will not install to BOR. I thought BOR was a full version of AJE. Did I waste my money buying the Cantabrian Wars scenarios?

I think if a State or bunch of States wanted to leave the Union they should have been and still should be allowed too.
Does that go for Ireland and Scotland too?

Many pictures of my 'rear end' were taken that day accompanied by squeals and shrieks of laughter [8D]

Cheers

Just be glad it wasn't your 'front end' they were laughing about.[;)]

One of my wargaming buddies had his thyroid removed a little less than a year ago and he is now cancer free and doing excellent. I'm sure you're wife will get through this just fine. All the best to you and your family.
