RE: is this normal?

<t> Think about it. It makes perfect sense: If you were running away from a fight and someone started shooting at you, don't you think you'd "go to ground" (pinned status) or even shoot back (op fire) if you figured, "Oh, well, if I'm going to die, I may as well take some enemies down with me." It's ...

RE: v9.5 WTF ??

I installed Los's v5.0 graphics mod a few days ago using Modswapper and that same v9.5 popped up for me too. I haven't noticed any difference in play. I'm glad you mentioned it happened to you too. I won't worry about it now.

RE: Is anyone actually playing the game?

<t> Saturday is usually my day of rest. As in, I tend NOT to play on Saturdays. Otherwise, it's after work, before dinner and then again from 8 or 9 pm until 11pm to 2am. I hate those late nights! Is it a problem if you can't tear yourself away? Just one more turn...<br/>

I agree with Muzrub.

Here's off topic for you...

I got married last month. I eloped to Alaska of all places.

It was great fun. I even helped a bow hunter carve up a moose the day before I got married. Only in Alaska! [8D]

RE: counter-artillery fire

<t> There is no setting to have it happen. The computer determines if your arty is otherwise unengaged and if it has longer range than your opponent's arty. It happens randomly. The only thing you can do to increase the chance of it happening is to buy long ranged arty and not give it a current ...

I can't recall having any problems seeing the blue flags. Maybe your "gamma" settings are too high/low or something. Have you tried adjusting your monitor's settings?

RE: Bombed out of supression?

<t> If you think about it, it makes perfect sense: Say you are retreating or routed. What are you doing? Running for your life. Now, suppose bombs start dropping around you as you run. In every movie I've seen or book I've read, when the bombs start falling, soldiers start to try to get to the ...

1) You can set the delay for terrain messages to pop up in your preferences screen. If it is set too long, you won't be inclined to use it, if it is too short, you will find it annoying that the messages pop up when you don't want them. You have to find the best ...

RE: MC Desert Fox observations

<t> I don't think you should expect the new OOB revisions to be harmless to old MCs. I am running MCDF in v7.1 right now and I have had no problems. If you are running MCDF in v8+ or H2H, I would expect to see unit abnormalities pop up. It's the price you pay for all the hard work the teams put in ...
