Annihilation of 6th Tank Army

By the end of January 30th, Konev could be quite satisfied with his progress. The 4 Guards Army and the 5 Guards Cavalry Corps captured Vlasovok, cleared the switch line and were on the outskirts of Petropavlovka. More units were ...

<t>With the new sub changes will the IJN ASW cope? <br/>
In 2.2 a TF of 4 PCs can loose 2 (one being hit by two torps) to an S-boat on a bad day.<br/>
I agree with those who state that even if IJN ASW wasn't all that effective at killing subs, then at least it should be made a bit more effective at ...

<t>Totally agree with Wobbly that beside the "sub issue" the game is pretty much beautifull in all respects.<br/>
<br/>
However the allied subs, if employed aggressively (as most human players do) tend to parylize the Japanese player. One must set many of his air units to ASW duty and strip most ...

<t>some things I'd find usefull in the next patch:<br/>

1. Enemy plane range circles.<br/>
2. Some kind of overall ship's AA value listed on the ship details and TF screen like it was in PacWar to make it easier to choose the right assets for carrier escort rather than sifting through the ...

Thanks Nikademus for explaining the issue so thoroughly.... very interesting read. I really do hope your posts were not in vain and a patch will make surface combat more realistic. In fact after reading your posts I realized it's so far off it must be fixed.

unhappiness

hm... I think I was too quick to say I've got it fixed... it seems to be running better but only for the first few minutes.... after that it again seems to "hang up" for several seconds before going to another screen... seems quite random too.

I'm defragmenting drives etc.
