I am talking about Divided Galaxies. I get the error message right after I select "Play Starships Unlimited..." from the startup screen. It says "Failed to initialize Directsound." I am using a Dell PC with a PIII650 and 64MB RAM, purchased in June 2000.

Adding some in-game music down the road would be nice. Maybe there be brief 4-6 bar themes when something important happens, like a "war" theme and a "federation" theme. Just a thought.....
