RE: Level Bombers and Torps!

<t> I am getting the exact same thing. Very rare torpedo hits, bomb falling sounds when the planes should be launching torpedoes, showing bombing run at flight altitude and not torpedoes dropped at 200 ft.... US CVs are operating within the range of Rabaul with impunity due to this.<br/>

RE: Computer Generated Convoys

Last questions (hopefully) - Is this bug in all of the smaller scenarios without production or just this one? Is it in the big campaigns as well?

Again, thanks for the quick responses.

RE: Computer Generated Convoys

<t> Thanks a lot for the quick response!!! I am actually relieved it is a bug and not a 'feature' [;)]<br/>
<br/>
Is there an ETA for the patch? A buddy of mine and I want to play it PBEM and it will drive me insane to have to deal with these convoys. The Japanese have to be much better stewards ...

Computer Generated Convoys

<t> I am playing the Guadalcanal Scenario (Aug 4, 1942 - Feb 7, 1943) as the Japanese - no production, limited map around the same basic area as UV.<br/>

Is there any way I can keep the computer from generating fuel and supply convoys and sending them to places I never intend to use. I have ...

Sitting in Japan

<t>Well, it is mid to late November, and still no sign of the Japanese carriers. I have been fairly agressive, solidifying my position on Guadacanal, pounding Rabaul with LBA and brutalizing Shortland with LBA and carrier strikes (caught the Musashi at port and I couldn't tell you how many bomb hits ...

Where are the Jap CVs???

<t>This is part Allied AAR, part question.<br/>

I am in late September 42 of the non-historical long campaign (no Midway).<br/>
<br/>
In early May, the Japanese invaded and captured Gili Gili at a price of several troop transports to the Lexington and Yorktown. Unfortunately, the Japanese ...

Reinforcement Messages

<t>This is a great game. I love it. The one thing I think I would like to see added in the patch is a message at the beginning of my turn telling me what reinforcements arrived that turn and where they arrived.<br/>

Court Marshall

I would definitely look into a court marshall of your supply officer, because he certainly must have one lucrative side business going on!

That is weird, though... I haven't had anything like it.

Graphics Problems

<t>I received the game on Saturday and have encountered some graphics related problems.<br/>
<br/>
Primarily, it manifests itself in two areas:<br/>

Economics

<t>As for me, I fully expect go get MUCH more than $50 worth of entertainment out of Uncommon Valor, with or without a printed manual. Even if I had to pay another $10-20 to print a manual, I expect that I would get more than $70 worth of enjoyment out of this title.<br/>

<t>This game has me so excited I am trying to track down old High School buddies I used to play Guadalcanal Campaign and all the other old classics with. Days upon days of hot seat Apple II action! I figure once you are bitten with the love of this type of game it would never go away, right?<br ...

UV Manuals

<t>I am a long time follower of this forum and of Grigsby games (back from Guadalcanal Campaign on my Apple II forward) and I am extremely excited about the game's pending release.<br/>
<br/>
With that I have a question:<br/>

I understand the manual for UV is going to be a .pdf file. I am (and ...
