Feature?

<t>What an odd feature to have. Becuase the way it seemed to work in this case was the program took a transport with pretty bad damage into a task force. Maybe another reason to have "repair slots" ?<br/>
<br/>
Perhaps if the idea behind this was to add transport as needed to take whole units, which ...

I just had a very damaged AP join up to a TF on it's own accord. Had 2 or 3 AP transports and 1 DD at Brisbane an went to load up, and when clicked "done" or "exit" an extra transport was there in the list.

One explanation might be the "Ops Points". Did the follow on CV TF refuel any of it's escorts?

Thanks Erik. Shortly after posting this note I did find some others that helped clear the fog, and your answer pretty much sums it up!

Geez, that is a poor analogy. More like charge the guy a few bucks shipping/handling and duplication to be fair then chalk it up to customer retention.

Huh, another thread asking for some explanations on repair. Guess I'm not the only one that would like some details fleshed out for this subject.

It's all in which order you click the options around. After re-reading the manual and clicking different options in differnet sequences you'll no doubt stumble across it too.

<t>An answer with specifics would be nice. <br/>
<br/>
I think we understand as Yamamto mentions in his question the general concept. How about a formula or some detail that we can rely on to make a wise decision?<br/>
<br/>
If this is detail is in the manual I cannot see where. Could someone point ...

<t>Yes it appears to be working fine now that I understand the rather odd way (to me anyhow) of how to set it up.<br/>
<br/>
A couple of thoughts on this;<br/>
<br/>
1- The manual should be explicit with the actual steps needed to set-up the convoys. Such as instead of how the section reads now ...

CS vs. Routine Convoy

<t>After re-reading the manual section about this, it finally dawned on me what I was doing wrong!<br/>
<br/>
To make a Continous Supply convoy you have to put the task on computer control first. Then select the destination. The convoy then loads up and heads out, and after letting a test run for a ...

<t>OK - I created a supply / transport task force consisting of 4 AK ships at Noumea. I then click on destination and get it set to Luganville. I next click on the Human Control and it changes to "Routine Convoy" Not CS:Luganville. The next day the ships are at sea heading for Luganville, which is ...

I do watch them most of the time, but wish they had some more detail. While trying to learn what works best for an attack it would be nice to see it "as it happens".

<t>I am having some trouble setting up routine convoys. My impression is you pretty much have to deal with the supply yourself on a regular basis. Am I missing some process to set up regular convoys from say Numea to Luganville and Lunga? I seem to get one or two supply runs and then the convoys ...
