Truk to Brisbane?

<r>While playing scenario #1 against the AI, every now and again an air strike will be sent from Truk against Brisbane. The details escape me (rum induced?) but nothing comes of the strike. No combat report, &c, &c, &c.<br/>

Message padding

Let's not forget the lead padding. I believe the entire message was "TURKEY TROTS TO WATER-WHERE IS RPT WHERE IS TASK FORCE 34 RR-THE WORLD WONDERS" "

Yup. That works. Though in the "After action report" screen, it scrolls the lower-left message stuff.

Ya'll gonna port this to Linux?

I'm going to stop playing this game (for an hour or three) and go sailing.

Thanks for your help.

<r>Doesn't work on my box either. In addition, I can no longer alt+tab out of the game in 800x600 mode. I'm using a cordless Logitech Mouseman Wheel on USP with scrolling size set to "six lines". Should this be set to "Page"?<br/>

Yup. XP Home, 512 meg RAM, 1.6 mH intel, 16 meg ATI Rage (pathetic).

I've tried changing game resolution, screen resolution, and combinations of both. To no avail.

Unreadable information screens

On several information screens, the numbers indicating the status of say, "Support Required", are smushed over to the left. This obscures both the description and the status number.

This occurs in v1.0, 1.10, and 1.11

Is it just me?

Thanks
Doug
