Support?

<r>Is anyone from Matrix monitoring this thread? This question should get a response from Matrix. I really don't want to download and install all the patches manually. I want the auto updater to work. My problem started when I got a new computer with a win XP operating system. Before that the true ...

<t>As a rookie wargamer, but a veteran strategy gamer, I'd say the level of detail is excellent. Nimitz didn't tell Spruance, "Come 30 degrees to port!" It's up to the theater commander to choose the best/appropriate commander for the mission of a given task force, then live with the choices made by ...

Bounce?

Another newbee question: In the air-to-air combat screen what does so-and-so squadron "bounces" other squadron mean? I know it must be significant. Also while I'm at it, what does it mean when the report says one squadron is lining up a tail attack -- is it a mark of relative squadron skill?

Your AAR is the main I bought this game. And, as a non-grognard, it's also the reason I've struggled to learn how to play it. ADM Robertson -- to me you're a sea officer in the great tradition of Jones, Farragut, Porter and Halsey!

Does no one have an answer:confused: If Turner has no effect on naval units I suggest that his shore command be terminated in the next patch so that he may be used as a task force commander.
Matrix/2by3 -- how about an answer?

R.K. Turner in Lunga Invasion

<t>I'm Allies in scenario #16 in early July. Richmond Kelly Turner appears as Phib commander HQ in Noumea. My question is: should Turner embark aboard a ship to take personal command of the Guadalcanal invasion force or should he remain in Noumea? I'd like to put him on a ship because that's what ...

Fatigue/Morale levels question

How much fatigue can an air squadron stand and still be effective? Is 50% too much? 70%? Also, how low can morale safely go before it's time to rotate away from the forward area?

I bought my copy of UV from Chips & Bits, so they definitely had some in stock when the game debuted.

CM?

<r><QUOTE><s>[QUOTE]</s>I could not have described it better myself. I am still amazed how much UV I am playing. Even my purchase of CM only keept me from UV for one day until I ran back to the pacific never to return to a game I just purchased for 50 bucks. I demand a BIG warning sticker on the ...
