Enhanced Version

<t> Hello Everyone,<br/> <br/> Hey I have been gone from this forum for a long long long time. I have been playing CoD...in all of it's various iterations. But, have recently had a desire to get back to PBEM with Steel Panthers.<br/> <br/> On one of the forums for PBEM I noticed someone mention an "...

Must have been tired..

<t>Ihad been hoping that your turn would come so I could play. Cause I knew that I had played after you mentioned the beers. <br/> <br/> I must have been tired because I zipped it up and everything. But, forgot to send. <br/> <br/> Here it is. <br/> <br/> Like I said, there is a lot of equipment sca...

Just enough armor...

<t>to where the Tiger doesn't blow...but the crews bail.<br/> <br/> Really back and forth in the middle. <br/> <br/> Playing chicken in the north to see who will come over the top of that little hill first. (Well actually I did but my Ski Patrol guys were no match for satchel charges and tanks) Besi...

George S. Boutwell

<t>Hi David,<br/> <br/> Here is a brief run down on your ancestor. I also tried to paste a picture of the Boutwell. But, not sure if it worked. So I attached it to the file also.<br/> <br/> <br/> George S. Boutwell (1818-1905) had spent a long career in public service, including tours of duty as the...

BTW

<t>Something I wanted to mention. <br/> <br/> I was stationed on the US Coast Guard Cutter Boutwell (WHEC 719) from 1978 thru 1979. <br/> <br/> Back then Boutwell was stationed out of Seattle at Pier 39. Today it is stationed in Alameda California. <br/> <br/> I was a Quartermaster 3rd Class (Naviga...

Suggestion

<t>I have an idea that occured to me while I was reading your posts. <br/> <br/> Why not establish a forum specifically for the Map Makers in the group. Where someone like me who consistantly botches up his attempts to put history into those little hexes; can post a request and then any one of you c...

Slow Going

<t>Slugging it out inch by inch with the infantry. <br/> <br/> Getting too up close and personal with the Tigers. Need to choose shots better.<br/> <br/> Making progress but very slowly and costly.<br/> <br/> Oh Yeah, I'm really mad now....Rommel ran off with the fraulein and pee'd on my track on th...

Back out in Center Ring...

<t>Breath fresh after a gulp of melted snow the Sumo's ample paunches crash with a sound that drives the Ladies from the front rows. The sweat and blood spatter was just too much for them. <br/> <br/> Got a number of HT's and one of your M10's. It is almost hand to hand in the south between the Engi...

All Hail the 88...

<t>I was reading this thread from someone that I can't remember the name of this morning and he was mightily upset with the venerable Tiger Tank. Seems that he was getting nailed and didn't seem to have enough shots available. <br/> <br/> In the Scenario section of the game there is a tutorial about...

On the way...

<t>Wierd that the Northern European Armies didn't think of putting skids in the place of Wheels on their HT's. It would have been the first example of a giant military SkiDoo.<br/> <br/> Which would be very useful considering the terrain. <br/> <br/> So much for German Ingenuity. You would have thou...

The Eagles Nest....

<t>Orzel, I am not sure if that was the actual name for the place. But, could you make a map of the resort area that Hitler had built up. It supposedly was going to be where the most fanatical SS troops were to stage their last stand. <br/> <br/> I think it is in the Bavarian Alps on the border with...

What kind of Sadist are you?

<t>I suppose you would have been a "Training Officer" in your previous lives!<br/> <br/> I think one of the things that saved my bacon during the surprise was those "Cute Little" StagHound AA's". Speedy little death machines, eh What?<br/> <br/> The map and scenario reinforced one thing for me. And,...

What to do

What is the consensus for the difference in rate of play that some are encountering?

Should those that have finished Round one be paired up to continue on? Or should we wait for the others to catch up?
