Re: TRP - World at War ALPHA Released v0.7.6

Are you concentrating on WiE at this time to get things nailed down, then will do an upgrade to SC:WaW?

Re: Strategic Command Interview

Very interesting. I'm enjoying listening to you talk about your early interests and projects. Spanish Civil War... I would never have guessed.

Looking forward to listening to all of it. I think for a first interview, it's quite good.

Re: TRP - World at War ALPHA Released v0.7.6

Thank you, sir.

I understand the AI in the WaW for the Allies is default (not up to par). Is the Allied AI in the WiE version any better?

How to install DLC?

Honestly, i am totally confused - there are way too many EXE files for me. I have OoB:WW2 installed. I downloaded one of my DLC (Morning Sun) and am unsure to install it. If I activate the Morning Sun.exe file then it tells me I need to d/l version 2.25 of OoB. And where do I get that?!? I am not se...

Re: TRP - World at War ALPHA Released v0.7.6

Is this version different than what you have in the Discord channel? Is that one for WiE instead (because I see it is beta 1.4)

Re: A condemnation on Long range amphibious transports

It's good to see the LRT issue brought up again.

I'm a little perplexed why a dev hasn't joined the conversation.

Well that's hot.

Could we get a full screenshot of the entire battlefield, Bill?

Re: Bring the Afrika Korps back to Africa!

There is a huge weakness (along with many smaller strengths) to an event-driven strategy game. Namely, everyone 'knows' what happened and thus is supposed to happen. And if the program in AI vs AI does replicate it decently, we say it is 'historical'. A good initial goal. But the minute a player doe...

Excellent explanation, Bill. Thank you.

I got lazy and forgot to search for those two decisions in other files.

Japan Dummy Events (surrendering to USA)??

Can you please explain why you'd have Japan surrender to a neutral or defeated USA?

I am talking about dummy events DE 854 & 855. I get that the trigger is Japanese NM is below 1%, but why the surrender to a neutral or defeated country?

Bill, is there an attack:defense ratio check to see if the sub unit will even do it? And not commit Hari-Kari?

Re: Allies DoWing Minors

Maybe I am off here, but does the swing really matter? If it is Japan's Pearl Harbor assault that activates the USA, does any real shift matter?

And if in actually shifts like that do not really matter, then the Allies can DoW at will, generally speaking.

Re: Request: More accessible ingame info (scripts, setups etc.)

I would rather see the developers focus more on the game improvement itself rather than putting energy and time into presentation of information that is already accessible (yes, it takes time to understand the scripting system and sometimes to search). Truthfully. SC:WaW is on the back-burner for fo...

Re: Coastal Guns-only benefit from Artillery tech not Naval Weapons?

I'm kind of curious why no one has weighed in on this.

I'm uncertain what my comment might be, though. And maybe I'm not alone in that. But would definitely appreciate hearing the perspective of others.

Re: Newbye Query

I think I would work out my mastery of game mechanics vs the AI, then jump into PvP/email. I do think to do otherwise might unnecessarily subject you to thinking 'email' was completely jacked up based on constantly getting thumped by not having a mastery of the mechanics. N ot say email isn't jacked...

Re: Why aren't the Italian Littorio BBs in the queue?

When designing the navies the aim was to get a rough balance between the respective forces, and offhand I'm not sure if we want to add any more ships (or change the class of those they do have) because as you say, it might then require adding more to the Allies. I guess the question is, historicall...

Simply need to find the convoy.txt file from the Scripts/Events folder (use the default one) and put it back into your modded folder.
