RE: 12.10 Turkish Options

<r> I am currently playing Turkey in FTF game they can manage Cav sup vs the Austrians but not against Russia. Look at the force pool sizes. Also it depends on whether you use the additional leader penalties for lots of corps, otherwise Pelchivan Khan is not that good. Please tell me when the ...

RE: The Nizami Cedid Revolution

<t> This is one option that as far as I can see doesn't mirror history in any way at all.<br/>
The revolution - which was in fact the disbandment of the Janissaries and the feudal system took place after Turkey surrendered to the Russians (around 1813 - not sure of the exact date).<br/>
The fact ...

I think that your opponent didn´t choose the right chit. I think that brit doesn't have to destroy Turk army, but only defeat it, that it's less risky. Chits based on morale and few losses like echelon or probe would have been more efective, I ...

RE: Is there a board game version?

I doubt there would be, however if you have played La' grande guerre?
I am very curious about it so if anyone has something to say let me hear it.
Thanks

Feudal Troops

The EIA rules allow for the teleportation however the corp are removed at the start of the december step and not Levied till the end of the turn.
I would suggest that you simply remove during reinforcement and add on the next reinforcement step.

EIA & NIE

<t>Hi All,<br/>
Having played EIA and just bought NIE I can tell you that EIA is a much more indepth style game. However this is not to say that NIE is a bad game, on the contrary it actually looks to be a lot of fun, it has a lot of good rules and is relatively simple to play. So if you are after ...

I also think that 1821 is a better ending date than 1815.<br/>

Regarding the begining date, I personally would prefer that the game begin in November 1799 - when Napoleon first became Consul. If the ...

<t>hhmmmmm....not sure what your actual complaint is???<br/>
It sounds like you don't want a game that has AI.<br/>
There are certainly a lot of things that a political sim can and can't do but I think that considering the short time span being covered by the game it should be able to make some good ...

<t>yes simultaneous movement would potentially be interesting but would certainly change the way that the game plays.<br/>
If each group of units - I guess corp size formations still had a reaction range based upon the commander.<br/>

The you go - my go option takes away that problem however ...
