Ok. Good. Im currently playing German and we are in August 1943. I try to keep OP at 40-50 at the start of execution phase on the attacking army with 5-6 corps subordinated. That should be enough, should it not?

<t>My succersful recepy to the above problem was to early meet the USAAF with overwhelming superiority already in 42. Currently playing in 1943. I have stationed arround 300 machines in Germany, 250 machines in France (WF) and 250 machines in Rumania since day one. All of them are now Fw190 which ...

Plotting question

<t>Hi there. <br/>
<br/>
I was almost sure that it was possible for a unit to plot supporting attacks in two different directions in the same turn, for example: 2s4s (meaning attacking in direction 2 as support in phase one and attacking in direction 4 as support in phase 3. <br/>

Retreat losses (Artillery)

<t>I would like to follow up MikeB's poll with another one.<br/>
<br/>
I get the feeling that the loss of artillery for the side playing a defensive battle is way too high. What do you think. Decrease the amount of artillery losses due to retreats (not shatter)?<br/>

on the other hand....

if the assumption is as Magnus writes "that they are used to spearhead the attacks" I would set them up as excellent decoys or even dummies including a single second line panzer division where Im NOT supposed to attack.

Is there a timeline for a new release of WIR (3.3) ?

<t>Hi Guys,<br/>
<br/>
Does anyone know if there is a release date for the new vesion of WIR 3.3?<br/>
<br/>
Given that there are some things that make the germans shatter during first blizzard turn 1941 if one do not play historically, I think I heard something about a new release.<br/>

<t>Hi there. Im following this bug discussion with interest as I'm one of the victims of it having played (spent alot of time) PBEM for several weeks.<br/>

Why not simply let the german rail-network collaps and lower the supply level of a rail-road hex to maximum 2 during blizzard turns (this ...

<t>Hi,<br/>
<br/>
I was the one sending the file to Rick Bancroft and now I start to get the grip how the game is built up. I agree with Shane056 above that entrenchment should have a role in this massive shattering effect.<br/>

One thing I still don't understand though is the odds calculation ...

The POSSUM scenario

<t>Hi there,<br/>
<br/>
I downloaded the Possum scenario yesterday. Possum has done some great in-depth research that I just have to see applied to WIR. Fantastic job!<br/>
<br/>
I had a quick look at it yesterday and I saw something peculiar about the map. The railroads seem to have a slight miss ...
