Hamburger Hill was a good yet overlooked movie that came out in the shadow of Platoon.

<r>"We Were Soilders" was a true story. It is based on the accounts of the men of the 1st air cav's first encounter with the NVA before the war had drug on and on and many where killed. That could be the reason it seemed to be more "patriotic" in it's feel than say "Platoon" was.<br/>
