<t>I honestly don't care for the bidding stuff, better to have the game set different objectives or winning posts for each state. At least thats how we played it at the club....<br/>
<br/>
I just want to see the following<br/>
<br/>
1- In single player, the ability to choose whatever state you wish ...

He had a inscription on his backside supposedly saying death to all kings. Ironic.

Bernadotte was an intresting character, really no scruples at all, but as Marbot said unquestionably brave and was kind to men how he did not need to be jealous of, by which I mean subordinates.

<r><B><s></s>You're proabably right that he shouldn't get 6 corps. The evidence on that one is mixed, and Wagram suggests that he had troubles with really large armies on the battlefield. But the tactical rating is well deserved, and arguably the strtegic one too.<e></e></B> <br/>

Well, as far as I know it his job was to defeat the enemy... after all Austria decalred War in 1809, not the other way around.<br/>

<t>Wellington 5.5.3<br/>
<br/>
Charles 4.4.6<br/>
<br/>
Yes, Wellingtons ratings are higher, but except in one crucial area, corps command. This makes Charles' far more effective than Wellington, which I find odd to say the least. <br/>
<br/>
Let me get this straight, i don't think Charles was bad ...

<t>RE:Archduke Charles<br/>
<br/>
Certainly not the worst General by a long shot. No, I simply wanted to point out that in the Game EIA, he rates as 4.4.6, which is far too high. He was extremely cautious, so much so he missed many oportunities and retreated when he could have continued. His ...

<t>I much prefer the map like this, more like the game. It looks great!<br/>

Not that its any of my business (especially as I know how hard and how long it can take just to do the little things!) I would suggest the following<br/>

<t>Dupont is not a good choice.<br/>
<br/>
a)At Baylen he was wounded and ill, he should not have even been in command.<br/>
b) He was actually carrying out Napoleons outdated stratagic orders, that is what got him in a trap.<br/>
c) Dupont had shown himself to be a capable officer before this, at ...

<t>quote**When it comes to austrian leadership, I have to go with Charles over Schwarzenberg. His reforms after Austerlitz probably saved the austrians from annihilation in 1809, and he was an able tactician as well. While he was cautious, this was reasonable given Nappy's track record of trouncing ...

<t>I totally agree with Reknoy's post. I would have been quite happpy if the PC game looked liked the map one, after all it was not the colours and graphics that made the game so good. <br/>
