3 player allies PBEM

<t> Hoping this can be done by passing the file? I was hoping to set up a 3 player allies vs the Japanese AI, and was wondering if someone could give some good/normal ways the allied duties could be split up? By areas of operation? By nations? I have seen 2 x 2 PBEM games have been set up. i ...

Cap Question and CV death

<t> Just a quick question for the board, trying to figure out what I did wrong/why the turn played out as it did. Scenario May 15th - my task force of two CV's 23 Zeros per - set at 50% CAP, fatigue level around 32 - heading from PM to Shortlands, American CV's launch an attack as I enter port - his ...

RE: Economy, am I missing something?

<t> I think one of the main issues is Pollution, I have not found anything to combat the pollution, and thus a fully mined planet generates around a -7, this translates directly to unrest and rioting. Without a cost effective way to deal with unrest or pollution, you really have to be super careful ...

Crating Airgroups on the West Coast?

How does one go about transporting the air groups off the us west coast to lets say Pearl? I am assuming they need transported somehow? The time period I am questioning is Dec 41, so I dont see any CVE's like in UV.

Thanks for any info.

<t>I am playing a PBEM game as the americans in this scenario, I don't think the Japanese have it as bad as you think. I will admit I am having a harder time than I thought exerting my airpower, but the IJN has a 3000pt advantage in score to start and totally outfleets the US. On Day 11 the Japs get ...

<t>Thanx for the quick reply - I had no idea you couldn't launch any offensive or defensive strikes off of them.<br/>

Is this both types of CVE's then - for the US I have some with planes attached already - are these just for transport as well?<br/>

<t>These are the CVE's that come in with no planes what so ever.<br/>

Do you attach groups from the CV's that have gone under? Does it seem to work well?<br/>

I am with ya now.

Have never seen that - the Fast Transports not moving stuff, but I usually play japs and can't find a bulldozer to save my life.

That would make a very good addition to the FAQ.

Hey Mr Frag.

About the planes picking up bulldozers - they are just too big to fit inside - same thing happens with the large artillary and AA peices too.

They will need to go the old fashion way - boat or foot.

The more missions the better the results.

At first you might get just a list of units (INF,ENG, AA, etc) but over time you will get troop numbers and gun numbers as well as damage to runways and airfields.

It is a very useful tool.
