<t>Minefields are very easy to sweep, just have 2-3 TF with each max 2 DMS and let them sweep with retired on, and let a your CV TF wait at the spot where the DMS will retire to and you wont loose them and they can refuel and go back turn after turn. It takes then about 3 - 5 turns to sweep there ...

<t>Im not sure, since i dont play Japs yet, but what i do know is for extended ranges they had to add external fuel and i dont think they could carry these when taking off a CV, i think that would make them to heavy with there bombs or torpedo allready attached. And since you cant get them to fly in ...

<t>Something else that isnt used by surface ships vs Subs are anchors, they used these towed anchors to crush and pull apart the subs, would been nice if they added this also. This was a tactic mostely used when a sub would go sit on the bottom and try to wait for the surface to pass by .. so they ...

<r>Yeah dont try and use to much AO/TK to refuel your CV TF, you end up either to be stuck there for 2 turns, what is pretty much beeing sitting ducks for the enemy while he can either prepare to ambush you or strike while you are at it. If you wanna go far, dont take the CV's with low fuel capacity ...

<t>This is weird then, that famous BB battle i had them confirmed sunk, and now 1 month later only 1 BB appeared. I just had a second BB battle where i hit a BB and it wasnt sunk, now a day later i got it in the list as sunk. Right a day after that my planes sunk a second BB and it was straight into ...

<r>Uh oh ... that kinda is weird when you sink them at 2000 range dont you think? I had all the advantage, i suprised him twice, and shot his small cover arround his two BB's appart the first time it showed the Japanese suprized etc .. i sank half his DD's before the battle even began .. and before ...

<t>Why would you want to attack PT boats with carrier planes ? I don't see the real point there, i feel that is more a waste of ammo and fuel from the CV's on other better targets. I'd say if you want to really get ride of them, send in some fast DD's and they will finish them up, also fighter ...

I read your tests and yeah, seems you get the same results, seems these AA guns couldn't even shoot a duck if it was hanging on the barrel :D

Hope we get an answer on if they can fix this or how we can use them so they actually do something.

<t>Thanks for all your input on what you know, i know that for example 90mm AA should go well above 6000 feet using timed shells, even 20mm AA could use timed shells (shrapnel) but they mostly did cover against planes doing a low bomb run, divebombers or fighters on a straffe mission. Those 37mm did ...

<t>Attack Condor, i agree with your few, i only put SC's in large groups from the start cruising the shallow waters so they get more expierence, and then they become very effective against subs, at first you might loose some SC's, but so what? There only one 1 point anyway and that moustrap is so ...

<r>I can agree that bombing runs at 1000 feet dont do any runway damage, only kills troops on that airfield. Now put your bomb run at 6000 feet for the level bombers, you should be surprized to see there a lot more accurate <E>:)</E> Note i tested this for both the American B17's and smaller level ...
