RE: Tactical battles

<t> Is the battle status screen still present once a battle has been resolved? This in previous games was totally confusing and I didnt really have a clue as to why battles turned out the way they did. Maybe it was me not understanding what the screen was trying to tell me but I'm sure I wasnt alone ...

RE: Started

Nice work so far :)

Can the counter silhouettes be country specific? For example, a level 3 medium tank for the Germans could be a Panzer Mk 4 while for the US it could be a Sherman?

RE: Waffen SS ?

So is Matrix putting a block on showing SS units in the game?? WTF!

This leads to another question : Are they elite units in the game?

Passive AI

<t> Hi<br/>
<br/>
Just watched through the Youtube video series and why the game looks amazing the one thing thats worrying me is the lack of aggression in the AI. It seemed really passive putting little to no response against the Axis forces. The French units didnt put up much of a resistance to ...

RE: Strategic Command shows the course of World War 2 in screenshots

The game looks great from the screenshots, only one small request though. Instead of the generic unit names could there be historical ones?

RE: WitE 2

<t> Totally agree with sillyFlower, make the game interesting and fun for us amateur players. Cater for both types of gamer, those that want a handsoff approach to the detail and those that enjoy looking at speadsheets for 6 hours planning a turn.<br/>

RE: WitE 2

<t> Even though I bought WitE I only dabbled in it; the amount of time required to play and amount of counters put me off. However I always thought that instead of taking on the whole German side or Soviet side in the grand campaign, it would be more my playstyle just to control a subset of units ...

Same as above poster, really want to buy this game but when I hear of silly conga line formations and "circle" formations it really puts me off :(

RE: War in the East Q&A

Lets say I'm planning a 'Citadel' type operation for my spring offensive. Since I know the units taking part will be involved in heavy fighting for a number of turns can I stockpile supply prior to the operation and earmark it for those units taking part in my offensive operation?

RE: War in the East Q&A

Looking at the various AARs, its apparant that the scale of the game is immense and the sheer amount of units involved could be a little overwhelming. Is they any way to give a corps/army a target/goal and let the AI handle those units under the command?

Yes I agree. I think that having a&nbsp;graphic of the unit (similar to the original WIR) would really add to the atmosphere of the game. Is this in the plans do you guys know?

RE: War in the East Q&A

Not sure if this has already been asked but how easy is it to play around with the scenario OOBs?
&nbsp;
Will we be able to add new units to a scenario and how would we do this? Assign a unit to a TOE template or something similar?

RE: Two screenshots

<t> Map is looking fantastic [:)]<br/>
<br/>
Couple of questions then :<br/>
<br/>
1) Is the max stack 3 units?<br/>
<br/>
2) Looking at the TOE screen, when you click on a weapon what does the detail screen show you? A picture of the actual tank/plane/gun would be great!<br/>
<br/>
3) How ...

RE: Problems with placing an order through Matrix Online Store

I tried Ordering last night and after submitting my credit card info and billing address it came back with an unspecified error message. Will be checking to see if my card was charged when I get back from work today. Not impressed :(
