RE: War In The Pacific v1.40 Update

I love WITP so I am so looking forward to this patch. I just have one question. Is there somewhere that I can see a list of the changes or at least the new things that were added so when I play the game I'll know what to do?

RE: Matrix Games Worldwide Holiday Sale!

<t> All I can say is bravo for offering this. As you probably know, many many of us have dial up internet service which is really not possible to download such large files. It would take days and most often one loses his connection after several hours or else the file does not download properly or ...

RE: ONLY!!! OOB Comments/Suggestions for Patch 1.4

I do have just one suggestion for the patch 1.4. In the old game of Pacific War you could specifically target ships in port. I have not found this in WITP. Maybe that feature could be added as it was a real neat feature.

SPWAW

I have a question to anyone who can help me. Does anyone know how to get all the tanks of a section to move together. I hit the A key to signify "all" which happens but when I do I am not able to even get one vehicle to move much less the entire group. What am I doing wrong?

RE: SPWAW version 8.20 & patch version 8.30

<t> Well, I have had a problem, but mine had more to do with the file not even unzipping properly. I have downloaded Ver. 8.2 twice already and both times when I have attempted to unzip it it gets all the way to the end and then sends a error message "CRC error" and just shuts down. So I have ...

RE: Problems - Bug Reports ? Start here - READ

<t> I have a problem that I am hoping someone has solved. I am running WITP version 1.21 first off. Here is my problem. I have been attacking Saipan for upwards of 3 weeks now (time frame is Nov. 1943 thru late Dec. 1943). I am playing against the computer as the Americans. The computer has ...

RE: Tin Soldiers: Alexander The Great Now Available!

<t> I think it is a real bad practice that those of use who do not have broadband internet service should be discriminated against. I would like this new game but once again if I want it I have to pay $10 more than some one who has broadband service. Many have dial up internet service as they live ...

cost

<t> I am a little taken back by the cost of Battles in Normandy. It's price tag of $59.95 would be more than enough considering that it is a sequel to the original game that sold for a TOTAL cost of $49.95, but thats only if you just download it. If you choose to buy it on disk because you only have ...

bombarding TF's

<t> I have an issue that I really think needs addressing in the future. When I setup a bombardment TF to attack say Guam my TF always gets the stuffing kicked out of it by a supposed group of hundreds of Japanese guns. For example my battleship Maryland got multiple hits with a damage rating of 35 ...

WITP problem

<t> I have had a problem with the program going back to the main menu quite often. It almost always happens when the computer is, once again, training ship crews. I will walk away from the computer as this usually takes so darn long and when I come back the screen showing the main menu will be on ...

RE: "War in the Pacific" problems

<t> I am sorry you are correct, I misspelled the name of the island, it is Pagan. The answer to your question is YES. I totally control this island as the Americans with no Japanese on the island and have for over a month and a half. But I never get the option in the right hand corner allowing me to ...

"War in the Pacific" problems

<t> I am having trouble with Pacific War in two things. <br/>
First, eventhough I have a pentium 1.7 Ghz with 512 meg of RAM and a ATI Rage 64 card my computer runs super slow in WITP especially when the computer is training ships crews. Sometimes it can take up to 5 minutes for this each turn. I ...
