Thanks guys. I'm sure the game is worth it, but at this stage of my life, no way am I spending that kind of money on a pc game :)

Thinking of getting this.......

Questions:

- does this game have scaleable levels of command, or is it a micro-management nightmare ? I.e., my only interest in the Pacific is carrier task forces.
Can one play the game in command of those only ?

Try one of the PzC games, and you'll come to appreciate the DB games unit numbers <g> Around three times more units in the PzC games, for the same battle depicted............ugh.

Is there anyway to bypass/disable the opening videos, and any videos that try to kick in elsewhere ?

That is at least part of the problem.

Heres something potentially strange that I just noticed. The version number of the korsun.exe file in the game folder, and on the cd, are both 1.0.0.1, even though I've applied all the patchs to the exe in the game folder......
