Re: Miniscule fonts and graphics..

Thanks Bill; a possible solution would be to get one of those retro laptops that could also be used for quite a few other old games. Question, if I may, how far back would one have to go considering this is Borland C++Builder? This would probably run well on Windows 98 but could the game run on ...

Miniscule fonts and graphics..

I'm using a Dell 4K screen which I'll admit has had scaling issues with some games and has a BIG one with EIA.The fonts are so microscopic that I need a magnifying glass in order to see them and the counters and information components are way too small as well. In essence, the game is visually ...

Re: RE: Third party combat resolution tutorial

ORIGINAL: gcbisset

There seems to be a design flaw in not allowing players to fight defensive battles as 3rd party.

Am I missing something? Or is this something you can fix.

The feature works fine if I attack the AI, but not if it attacks me.

Thanks,

George

Third party was meant ...

Import/export battles for miniature games..

I bought the game primarily for that purpose. I saw one of the selling points of the game as:

"Save your unit setups for quick reuse in later games, import / export battles for miniature games"

How exactly does one going about doing that? I really have no idea how to pull it off.

RE: FITE2 map..

Lobster, would it be possible for us(or some of us) to have access to that map in some way? I've been waiting years for you to complete it and it looks like you've basically done.

FITE2 map..

<r> The program won't allow me to capture the map image so I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to share a quality detailed map of FITE2 that you somehow happened to miraculously obtain. Seems the only way I can make a map would be to stitch together <I><s></s>PrintScreen<e></e></I> saves ...

RE: Vietnam Combat Operations update

Would anyone happen to have a hi-res screen capture of the 4K map? Once again, the game says the map is too big to save.

RE: FITE2 and saving map images..

<t> Thanks for the advice Larry, it does capture the image of the map but it is extremely low-resolution and unusable. I don't think it's possible to<br/>
be able to get a hi-res map of FITE2 as it would probably be something like 50gb. The only way(on this end) would be to make screenshots sector ...

FITE2 and saving map images..

<t> I've tried unsuccessfully to obtain the map from FITE2 by using: 'Create map image(jpg)' from the FILE menu. <br/>
What I get is this: "BMP TOO BIG", "DO IT YOURSELF". What can I do to get the map? I suspect I need to adjust <br/>
some of the graphics settings, cache, etc. My computer is ...
