RE: Vietnam Combat Operations - Volumes 1-10 updated

Amazing! Thank you for making these. I'm still learning the game, but looking very much forward to going through these. It appears as if an entire free game within a game o-O.

RE: Another good game skipped because of ancient sub 1280x1024 resolution!

I have a 1280x1024 monitor, and I think the game looks good. Whine if you want, but you're speaking into the void.

LAN Play and serial keys

<r> I just got a brand new retail copy of this game, and I'm excited to play it! I'm curious though if I can challenge my roommate who is an electrical engineer to play me over the LAN with the same serial number (my copy) for use within the house.<br/>

RE: PBEM's? Hell Yes!!

Learning by PBEM is a lot more fun then restricting yourself to the AI until you feel accomplished....which might never happen to me. I might as well have fun now.

Even I forgot, how shameful!?

Nexus: The Jupiter Incident was a great single player game IMO. It's a difficult game, but it's fun!

RE: List of Current Space Sim / Space 4x Games

I can thank this thread for my compulsive buy of MOO2 from the local half price bookstore. Luckily it seems to run perfect as the windows 95 version in vista 64 bit. I might report back, but so far what I see is pretty darn cool.

New person looking for small game

<t> I just got this game recently due to the christmas sale, and I'm curious if anyone wants to play small random map PBEM game. I'll probably do a lot of horribly silly things, but I'd like the opportunity to play more than the AI while I'm learning (or I'll just tell myself I've never learned ...

RE: CM:SF Marines

<t> I don't have the first add-on, but I love CMSF! I have a lot of games already, but I'd have tons of fun over winter break with it. It'd also be a good incentive to buy the british add-on too :p.<br/>

Say I want to buy TOAW III. Is it bad to purchase it now, could I wait and get a neat printed manual with it for the same price?

RE: Patch?

I'm not too bothered by patch delays as long as there are updates as to what is going on. Watching the progress of throwing out a patch and the little pitfalls is semi-entertaining but even more so just really rare to hear from developers. Thanks for taking the time to make the patch right.

There is no cure in the world for dishonest people. It can't be helped, stopped, or prevented. Hopefully people who download it are the type who just want a demo and probably decide to buy it. They won't stop me from having fun either way.

It's not easy to find more players if you post your ICQ then deny their request to add you either.
