RE: OK, WHO JUST SHIFT THEIR PANTS?

<t> Thank you JSS and pterrok repectively for your expressions - again very much the kind of things I was hoping to hear. It's apparent that much more time on my behalf is going to be required to thoroughly round out my appreciation for BiN. And perhaps that's the best advice for anyone, grog or not ...

RE: OK, WHO JUST SHIFT THEIR PANTS?

<t> Point made Gregor. As I said before I understand completely the necessity to make the game accessible, and that what we have here is just that, a game, and not a mirror of the real thing. Know though that I wasn't really asking for a change of any kind, but simply for a more thorough ...

RE: OK, WHO JUST SHIFT THEIR PANTS?

<t> Thanks all for your input, and I understand and agree with much of what was put forth. I fear though that my point was a bit lost on you Gregor. Please don’t take my comments as a criticism, because they certainly weren’t intended as such. Nor even were they an expression of a ‘theory’ because ...

OK, WHO JUST SHIFT THEIR PANTS?

<r> But seriously...<br/>
<br/>
I am for all intents and purposes a newbie to BiN. I have KP and have had it for awhile but admit to letting life get in the way of an adequate amount of playing time to really come to appreciate it. I've been anxiously watching and waiting for BiN though because I ...

Thanks for the input folks, that does clarify it. BTW, I admit to knowing squat about this next game in the series Battles in Normandy - you mentioned. Where can one get some dirt?

Well if they have no value relevant to their intended purpose (read: shooting down aircraft), then using them to absord losses as so much cannon fodder is certainly a creative use for them. Thanks for the tip Pawlock.

For a second I thought you were making a pun on the usage of the shift key in the game. Too bad-that would have been classic <E>:)</E><e>[/QUOTE]</e></QUOTE>

Actually I kind of was, although I admit the topic was a bit unrelated. <E>:D</E ...

A patch you say, well I look forward to that. As for the AI in FOG no, it wasn't all that sophisticated, but I admit to cursing out those pesky Prussians more than once. And mastering the mechanics in KP will be a long time coming if not altogether too optimistic, but I'm ...

BEST USE OF AA

<t>I'm sure this has already been hashed and/or to be uncovered on my own as I make my way through the manual so forgive the pre-emptive question here, but what's the best use for AA in KP?<br/>

CAS doesn't seem to be much of an issue given the weather and available air assets, but it is ...

I THINK I SHIFT MY PANTS!

<t>Not to be too melodramatic but, wow, great game guys (and gals?). While I don't consider myself a grog I have nonetheless been a pc wargamer since Fields of Glory (anyone remember that one?), and a board gamer long before that even. I only recently got permission from the lil' mis to add KP to my ...
