RE: Naval Loss Allocation in PBEM

<t> What we did was do a % of losses with multinational forces. This applied to Naval and Land forces. Basically if 10 FR and 10 SP were together attacking another nation(s) then the FR & SP would split losses 50-50.<br/>
<br/>
If 10 FR are stacked with 3 SP then % losses would be 77% FR and 23 ...

RE: Please include in patch!!!

<r> Remember one important variation between the boardgame and the computer version. In the board game two or more allied nations could do a <I><s></s>combined<e></e></I> move. Another words the nations involved would ALL move at the same time, conduct any battles at the same time, etc. <br ...

<t> It has been my experience with EiA that one bad war does not kill a nation although it may take one or two at most game years to recover. It does not gain the other nations to much to keep beating down a nation because what happens then is the player getting jumped on by everyone else just ...

RE: Game Balance breakers??

<r> <QUOTE><s>
</s>Wouldn't that be kinda realistic, though? I mean as far as international law and the law of the sea worked at that time? I'm not an expert, but it seems to me that if GB would attack a ship of a neutral country, it would, from a legal point of view, be equal to an attack on ...

RE: Game Balance breakers??

<t> Everyone is missing the point. In this version of EiA the way the program handles "Combined Moves" is instead of 2 nations moving at the time of the slower nation, One nation 'gives/loans' the corp it wants to combine move with its allied nation. <br/>

For example: GB and FR are at war ...

<t> Timothy_stone makes a VERY valid case here. This can throw the balance of the game especially for France into disorder.<br/>

In the board game, GB could attack the SP fleet transporting the FR forces and SP could, even if in an enforced peace, declare war on GB. <br/>

RE: Modifications to MWiF China Map portion

Just a thought, but if you add more units, what happens if Japan uses those units to go in a different direction? Even if you just increase number of units by breaking down the strength of existing units you increase the total number and thus provide more flexability to Japan.
