RE: Board game mod ( ready to use + New upload to simplify install)

<t> Thanks Hairog. I believe you, and I don't believe there is any malicious intent. However, I did get an installer program when I clicked on the download button on the page after NEW LINK is clicked. What was downloaded is a file named Installer, which when clicked loaded multiple unwanted malware...

RE: Board game mod ( ready to use + New upload to simplify install)

<t> Yes, I did. I used "Save As" in Win 10, and after the download there was an installer file. When I double-clicked the installer it put the unwanted apps on my drive. The download link did say Board-Game mod, but I saw nothing of the mod after I downloaded and executed the installer. Any reason i...

RE: Board game mod ( ready to use + New upload to simplify install)

<t> Hi - I attempted to download the board game mod from your new link and I got an Installer that did nothing but add junk apps to my computer. No sign of the mod. Anyone else have this problem? I'm not very happy about this as zI had to individually delete each worthless app.<br/> <br/> How do I f...

RE: Is Korea Tutorial Current?

<t> Tamas,<br/> <br/> I do know that most of the changes are addressed in the Tutorial. I do think you underestimate the value of a tutorial for creating first impressions. Cosmetic changes, especially corrections for errors early in the document, are quite important in my opinion. I cannot believe ...

RE: Is Korea Tutorial Current?

<t> Larry,<br/> <br/> My question is "Why" was an upgraded tutorial such a low priority. I have great respect and appreciation for what you have done with the game. Surely editing the tutorial file would be a tiny fraction of the time you spent on development. The tutorial goes a long way in forming...

Is Korea Tutorial Current?

<t> I'm a new player to TOAW 4 (I do own TOAW 3 but never really played it). I decided to give it a try with the new version.<br/> <br/> So I fire up the tutorial (Korea) full of enthusiasm to learn the new version of the game. Right off the bat I see "Welcome to Talonsoft's tutorial for The Operati...

How to Find Serial Number

<t> I am trying to get a Steam Key for Strategic Command: Europe at War. I purchased from Matrix several months (maybe more than a several) ago. I was probably under a different username and password at that time. Anyway<br/> I have logged in to the Matrix/Slitherine Members area and cannot find a s...

Steam Key for Operation Torch

<t> I successfully obtained my steam key for GG WitW today. However, I can't seem to get a steam key for Operation Torch. When I go to My Games in the Members Area I find that I haven't registered Operation Torch. I don't remember my Serial Number for OT. I need that to register the game and get a s...

Thanks to everyone. Changing browser did the trick. I tried Chrome instead of IE and it worked. Looking forward to playing. Thanks again.

RE: Purchase Problem

<t> Hi Vic,<br/> <br/> Thanks for the response. I do realize you are the developer and I wasn't sure where to post. When I click on the Support button at the top right of the Matrix web page I cannot login using the username/password that I use to log in here, so I posted here hoping for some help o...

RE: Purchase Problem

<t> Blond_Knight,<br/> <br/> You are probably correct, but I have no idea how to contact Plimus. I thought since it is a Matrix sale at stake that someone from Matrix would be willing to help me. I tried to re-post in the Matrix Support forum but that forum won't take my login/password.<br/> <br/> T...

RE: Purchase Problem

Screenshots of what? As I explained in my intial post, when I click on Purchase the "Please Wait" message activates and sits there; after 5 minutes or so I close it out. I've never had to wait anywhere near that long for previous purchases.

Purchase Problem

<t> Hi,<br/> <br/> I tried twice today to purchase the download version of Case Blue (with the Newsletter Coupon) and both times the process hung up after I clicked on the "Confirm and Place Order" button. The "Please Wait" sign comes on and that's as for as it goes. After a reasonable time (about 5...

RE: Out of Eight Review

Hi,

I'm new to the game and never played the board game. I like the game a lot, and the Out of Eight review is excellent. It's very well written, informative and entertaining. Anyone considering buying the game should read this review. Great job.

RE: How to Chhose Resolution in 1.040

<t> rjh and Wolfe,<br/> <br/> Thanks for the advice. I did that and it works. What confuses me is that Window Size (the label beside the box on the Preferences Screen) is different (to me) than screen resolution. I thought by changing those numbers I would get a different window size, but the same r...

How to Chhose Resolution in 1.040

<t> Hi,<br/> <br/> I saw the following quote from Lebatron in the Mods section:<br/> <br/> "Patch 1.040, found in the members club, now supports alternate resolutions, so it's no longer necessary to use the trick I outlined above. But the download is still useful for the new backgrounds I added."<br...
