RE: Reload problem?

Hey JSS and Adam

Thanks for your replies [:)] And I agree: It's certainly no big deal.

Take care,

Reload problem?

<t> It seems that when you save a game and reload it you can get some very strange results:<br/>
<br/>
I wanted to experiment with different naval Allied bombardment techniques so I made all the MUST-bombardments and then saved the game. After experimenting with one technique and seeing the first ...

RE: Unit Errata (compilation)

I noticed that the German 319 infantry division is part of the German setup in the Overlord scenario. Wasn't this unit located on the Channel Islands and never made it to Normandy?

Thanks for the reply anyway [:)]

RE: BIN Patch Status ?

<t> To me it's obvious that the AI should have to adhere to the same rules as the human player and all options favoring the AI (or the player) should be crystal clear and spelled out in the rules or the help files. I noticed the timed replacement problem as well and another thing I just noticed: I ...

RE: How is the AI?

<t> Hello<br/>
<br/>
I've played the Overlord scenario four times now - two as Allied and two as Germans at normal difficulty level - with overwhelming victories in all four and I'm not a very good player. So don't expect too much opposition.<br/>

On the other it must be said that the AI ...

<t> It seems strange to me too that SSG didn't include a full campaign. I suppose they have their reasons and I'm kind of curious to hear them.<br/>

I can't see why a 70 turn game would be too long. At least not for us playing against the AI or against ourselves. And if PBEM players ...

RE: So, how are your games going?

<t> It seems to me that the AI is FAR better at handling the forces in the Overlord scenario that in the smaller ones. I had no trouble getting an overwhelming victory as both Allies and Germans in the Omaha and Monty's Beaches scenarios. Not because I'm good but beacause the AI well...sucked.<br ...

RE: So, how are your games going?

<t> Hello<br/>
<br/>
I've tried the Monty's Beaches scenario and it seems that the AI - in this scenario at least - is quite hopeless. I've played both sides and easily took Caen as Allies due to the fact that the German armor was busy killing or trying to kill British paras in the Orne bridgehead ...
