Are You For Real?

<t> As a lond time CC fan, I find this a bit hard too post this. Not only does the download take a insane amount of time, especially regarding my upload speed, and the download speed of the server in question. All of that aside, the game is totally unstable. I've received more CTDs regarding this ...

Matrix Paided Me For TOAW?!

<t> At least that's the way it appears, gents. Purchased the game. Downloaded it, and received it via UPS today. I just finished checking my account online, and noticed that there was a plus sign next to the amount, as opposed to a minus sign symbolizing a deduction. I've contacted customer support ...

RE: Is this game for casual gamer ?

I'm a grognard, and I enjoy the game. The dev staff is committed to it, and that makes it all the more enjoyable. Yes, it's simple and easy for most to master, but that makes it all the more fun. The AI does some pretty unpredictable moves, I like that, the fog of war aspect is included.

Perhaps I should have read more deeply into the specifications. Now, this is a grand strategic war game, but where the hell are the diplomatic options. Somewhere...oh yes, they don't exist.

How can you have a game of this size, without the political options?

<r> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>Oooh, owww, yes I am hurting on this one! At this scale (500 x 500m) there is ample room to leave or clear lanes through your own minefields. RE: Please post reasonable thoughts on improvements.

Artillery and counter-batterly fire issue-I noticed on one occasion that after an enemy barrage (DPICM), they rolled right over their own mines. I think its an issue all be it not that prevelant.

Has anyone else seen this?

N00b Here

Just thought I'd announce myself. I've been looking at getting the game for some time now...and...well...I did it. I'm highly impressed with the level of detail and the immersion factor.

Outstanding!

<t> Not at all Erik, I love Matrix and the sims you guys produce. I have a great deal of respect for SimCan and their previous work in genre, hell, I still play Red Sky At Morning and that game is over 11 years old. I'm just not satisified with Flashpoint Germany thus far, however, I know that you ...

RE: Cross-marketing unappreciated

I know that SimCan made what FG what it really is. Flashpoint Germany is based upon two of their games, Main Battle Tank: North Germany and Main Battle Tank: Central Germany. If this is the case, and SimCan had a hand in this game I withdraw any previous opposition I had to it.
