I like the art work, and the simplicity of the editor. The fanfare after every shot is annoying. Its priced appropriately. Ive never played the board game version, but Im honestly sick to death of games trying to shoehorn ASL-ness into them.

Is it normal for support weapons to be destroyed along with the holding unit?

I purchased this from the developers site several months ago. Will I get a Matrix serial?

Maybe "setlandingCraft=20" isnt a valid command, where "landingCraft=20" is.

I was a playtester on Midway 42, very fun game. Although I have always loved the art in Matrix's Carriers at war.

After playing some Warplan:Pacific I couldnt wait and bought Guadalcanal last week for $30. I like how they retrofitted the aircraft rules from Midway into it.
And man oh man are there alot of running torpedo's in these scenarios!

Not from Warplan but Ive had the same issue in the past with JTS Panzer Campaign games. The Nato symbol is off-center from where it should be. Whether thats up/down/left, or right.

The editor does not allow me to go above 200 in oil so now way of changing Japan.

So how did you work around the 200 oil limit in the editor?

Im currently playing it. I lost Shokaku, but sank Saratoga, Lexington, and Hornet.

Yeah the Matrix updater only works about 50% of the time. I used to get them directly from the FTP site but most browsers wont open ftp links anymore. YMMV
