RE: Price?

<r> I think Steam have proved that selling games at lower prices leads to more sales and less piracy. Matrix's approach to pricing is as archaic as the hardcore crowd who&nbsp;can afford these kind of prices.&nbsp;I mean, check this out:<br/>

RE: Printed Manual?

<t> £67 is an absolutely astonishing price for a game, with or without a manual. I expect that War in the East will be similarly priced? These sort of prices are utterly unrealistic for most gamers, and will only have negative repercussions on sales and Matrix's reputation. I was looking forward to ...

that's fair enough. i'd always received a manual before so didn't consider you released games without them.

no paper manual in the boxed copy

having been used to getting excellent manual's in Matrix's boxed copy games i was rather disappointed to not find one in this game. made the extra outlay (about £10) completely pointless. i assume that there isn't one, rather than i had the misfortune to not be shipped one?

RE: Beautiful Game !!!

Thanks for the positive response. The complexity of programming a game completely eludes me! I appreciate the endeavours. Looking forward to getting my copy with a printed manual, my 15 minutes with the game so far has mostly been guess work&nbsp;[8D]

<QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>My other complaint is the limited support for higher screen resolutions. The game looks good on my laptop but horrible and fuzzy on my big flat screen, which is actually where I would prefer to play it.

RE: IGN Review

Mainstream review sites are never going to give an "indie" game a high rating because the publishers haven't paid for any advertising, so the site has nothing to lose. 6.7 is a pretty good score for an obscure, niche game on a mainstream website.

RE: How is the campaign game?

If you lose a battle in a randomly generated campaign, do you have to play it again?
