Yes playing against AI - as far as I can see I have all settings at 100% in Options. Difficulty is at Normal - are there any other settings?

Reached end of 1943: whenever I get any hole in Axis front with Russians, in the Axis turn they rush seemingly dozens of units to the area, smash the breakthough and still have enough movement to rush back to other areas of the front to keep a continuous line ...

It is against AI and happens whoever initiates combat. Anyway pressing on and Royal Navy CV have finally tipped the scales in Allies favour in the sea war.

No mods - just seems like so many bases are restricted but cannot understand why. If enemy TF was nearby then fine makes sense. So much to understand on this game - perhaps next time I will know better what to do and will look out for any player tips that get published

My carriers are 1943 not sure how I can see what the Japanese are. Anyway the British Pacific Fleet has turned up to bolster my battered carrier forces, Still cannot see why so many bases have yellow exclamation mark on them when no enemy naval forces nearby

Probably missing something but the Japanese have 6 CVL and they beat 6 US (mainly CV) almost every time and will probably lose this playthrough as I cannot sink the invincible Jap fleet.

Any tips gratefully received for next time

First try out so appreciate probably missed something. Now early March and unable to move any Allied stuff from either Africa, US etc . I am building transports so assume cannot move anything until they turn up?

I have read manual through and whilst effects of air unit missions are covered I cannot see how you actually tell them what to do. I know it must be there somewhere but spent a while reading the blasted manual but cannot find it. Can anyone help please?
