RE: France has surrendered. Now what?

<r> Nice strategy - makes sense to me, I tried again to get France to surrender and they finially did but in was at the end of 1916 after I was already starting to attack Russia. I had all of France from Paris in a line north to south but they still hung on and I had to leave them alone although the...

RE: ottoman empire

<t> I tend to fine that they are not tied up for long and will zip around the western front so I'm not sure of how much benefit it is unless your right next to Alexandria in which case they normally attack and blow away the OE units.&nbsp;Using the OE fleet to block the East Med is however worth...

Why can't extra BE Cav be purchased

<t> In my last game as the TE I decided to knock the OE out of the war steal the RM resources there and open up a land route for the British to Russia.<br/> <br/> Part of that plan included purchasing extra Cav units for the BE to use in the wide open spaces of the ME and hence thin out the line in ...

<t> There are four&nbsp;raw material&nbsp;points in three hexes right next to border in Russia. Move over an HQ and set up attack positions. Then when the Russsian AI does a SM out of those hexes jump in and take them. After that just transfer the 3 Industial and 3 raw materials every turn t...

Well I've been inspired to take a shot at knocking out France first. I'll try the Paris route via Belgium.

RE: Undo!

The worse is when you accidently select disband on the menu, no confirmation just one missing unit. Only happened once and it was near the end of a game so it didn't make any difference.

PBEM - what options make the best game

<t> I'm thinking of dunking my toe in the PBEM waters and was wondering what people's opinion was on making the game balanced.<br/> <br/> Obviously some people are more experienced than others but assuming two players of equal experience what would be fair?<br/> <br/> I was thinking of Italy for the...

<t> I always thought it was strange that using replacements doesn't lower the readiness of a unit.<br/> &nbsp;<br/> After giving it some thought I realized if it did the whole game balance would go out the window since France would collapse striaght away. Being able to rebuild units in line give...

RE: How does one sail units from/to India?

<t> As the British you need amph naval missions in the east med and of course connections from Britain if coming from there. The minimum is east med if you are leaving from Alexandria - you cannot embark from Cairo.<br/> <br/> Sorry not sure about the Basra - India route but I know the AI took Basra...
