Anyway To Just Buy All 3?

The idea of having to go through the clunky matrix games purchase system to buy all 3 DW games, makes me grumpy. It would be really nice to have a 4th option to just buy all 3 DW games.

RE: FOG?

I think what the OP is asking is simply for a better visual representation of the the 'fog' that darkens the hexes your units cannot see. I also have a hard time seeing it, and would like the 'darkening' to be slightly easier to see.

Campaign?

What's the campaign like? Is it purely linear? Branching? Dynamic? Is there a operational game that ties the tactical game together, ala XCom?

Both are good. I like CMBO's interface better, but I like PCO's settings and campaign system better.

The rotate view / left right keys are on the num-pad, but are the reverse of what I am used to. Can they be remapped in an ini or cfg file somewhere?

RE: When does a battle end?

<t> I do very much like the idea of a "floating" end, but I don't want to obscure the issue I had: I was winning by more than 2:1, when the game suddenly ended and handed me a loss with no warning or explanation. It gave the Russians a 100% to vicotry conditions, despite the fact that they had ...

RE: When does a battle end?

Okay, there definitely is some kind of hard coded battle end. I was winning a random battle, 69% to 29%, and when I hit turn 60, it automatically gave the Soviets 100%, and handed a marginal lost to me. What did I miss?

RE: Where do rand campaign TOEEs live?

The driver file reference the TOEE files stored in \Battle, they don't actually contain any TOEE. You can see this relationship in the editor when you double click on a battle cluster. It opens the battle file that contains the TOEE.

RE: Where do rand campaign TOEEs live?

<t> I see how it works now. It looks like the original TOEE is generated from a hard coded value, then inserted into the Rxxxxxxxxxx.xml file that is used to define the specific battle. That makes it quite awkward to adjust the TOEE for Rand Campaigns, since it has to be done on a battle-by-battle ...

When does a battle end?

I couldn't find how to tell battle length in the manual, couldn't find it in the orders, and can't figure it out from anything on screen in the game. How do I know when it's supposed to end, and is it occasionally longer?
