RE: Books

I was looking for a historical perspective. I have read some general books on the subject but was looking for something a little more detailed.

Can anyone recommend a good book or two to allow me to get into the level of detail this game runs in.

Many thanks

I have followed this thread and decided to try the world of WIF so have ordered the Kickstarter. Looking forward to giving it a try, a FTF opponent in the West Midlands would be helpful.

RE: Question about sonobuoys vs dipping sonars on ASW choppers

<t> The early RN Lynx was brought in to replace the Wasp not the Wessex. Its task was to deliver ASW weapons and to give an improved capability with air to surface weapons and radar against surface targets. Plus collect the mail, papers etc. The RN at that had time had active and passive sonar in ...

RE: v10102a land fragments 'organising' problem

<t> Just to add my observations to this problem I am currently trying to recombine some Brigades which have moved by sea into a division but am unable to do so. It would appear that the Brigades are located at the base but the fragments are at 0,0 and I assume this is stopping the process.<br/>
