I have been using magnifier and it greatly helps. The problem with magnifier is that it restricts the view of information tabs. A example is when units are selected I need to scroll to the right to view the units stats and then move back to view the units on the map.

I am having trouble reading most text in the game form the top menu bar to the numbers on divisions even at max zoom.

Is there a setting to rectify this?

To avoid captain obvious replies, I do have reading glasses and have never found a need to use them for gaming nor do I intend too.

Im back with a new computer and with the same problems.....

If I recall correctly my player data file had incorrect information in it.

The file in the above location is different from my initial inspection.

The file when 1st opened looked like this

username.password.

It now looks like this

username.password.0000-0000-0000-0000-0000

This seems odd to me

The only thing I can offer is to remote into that PC and see what is going on. My previous job was in I.T. support.

Is there any security software installed?
If this is a prebuilt PC from say HP or Dell it will probably have some McAfee thing on it. That 100% interferes.

I assume you have your login and password.

Did you have any previous settings on WarPlan you forgot to activate? Like "run as admin".
Did you set it as an exclusion through the firewall?

I have been playing 2 games on multiplayer with no issues for some time.
The game crashed while logging onto warplan multiplayer.
windows restarted the computer
I logged on to warplan multiplayer and my log on details and password were removed from log in screen
I have been trying for over 2 days to ...

I just logged onto PBEM and my user name and password are blank.

Just a recap on steps previously taken

I formatted my computer and only have this game installed.
I have no anti virus on.
I have 2 PBEM game going and have had no issues excepted for today ...

Turned off McAfee and that fixed it.

I hit the end turn icon that looks like a tick.

I got a messages saying that the game is being uploaded to server.

I have played the turn again but game still says I need to do my turn.

I have started 2 PPEM games 1 as axis and the other as allies. I have completed my 1st turn on both of these games and ended the turn.

When logging back onto the server I have both games up and my turns have not been played.

not sure what I have done wrong.

I would like to start after the new patch.

I am happy to give the allies a go.

I was not able to access the security software.

I formatted the hard drive and reinstalled windows.

I have a Lenovo y700 laptop.

After reading your post I put my display on full screen (made no difference visually) and I am now able to scroll to the right.

I was not aware of using the arrows to move the map and they work in all directions.
