It's pretty obvious that China are fiddling the figures. Italy, with 5% of the total population of China have three times as many deaths? Not buying that for a moment.

Most late war IJN DD upgrades give a bit extra AA and/or Radar at the expense of reload ammo for torpedo tubes, not worth it imo.

Still here after 15 years of UV/WITP/AE but no games active atm.

I think anyone with little or no knowledge of the battle would give it a solid 3/5. The two biggest bug bears for me were the total omission of US fighter operations of any kind and Jap super AA that shot down about 30 SBDs alone whilst in real life it was 2 or 3.

A smart IJN player should accelerate all the Unyru class CVs (I think six in total) as it's relatively cheap to do so. I think even just halting the Shinano pays for most of them. That's what I tend to do anyway.
