RE: W7 and Resolution

<t> Not really adept at techno-world, but by your input I surmise that there is no other way to make WitP appear full screen under Vista/W7? As per BAR's comment, upon re-installing the game after a couple of years (and off XP) my screen is black on the borders, leaving a smallish central area ...

RE: W7 and Resolution

<t> Sort of a similar problem as the one outlined by Freddy, coming back to WitP after 3 years on a 18" laptop. Game runs fine, the image is clear but the whole map occupies roughly the center half of my screen - end result too tiny to view. Running Vista btw.<br/>

RE: Jap 1st turn non-moving TFs

Thx for the input.

I made sure that all transport TFs were set to idle after they loaded with troops and split all AK/TK ships off them, forming new purely cargo TFs. Seems to work fine, none stayed in port

Elucidating. And no Charbroiled, I play vs. the AI on Hard.

Seems I'll have to bypass Palembang then, there is over 1500 AV parked there :).

<t> Hello.<br/>
<br/>
Aside from the title and prompted by Undercovergeek's queries, I avidly read a few threads on the merits/shortcomings of CHS, RHS, NikMod and Andrew Brown's & Subchaser's maps. I am intrigued and baffled at the same time, as the possible mix/match of the above can be daunting ...

CV Air Wings

<t> Hello.<br/>
<br/>
Playing stock 15. I noticed that certain US carriers sport 4 air wings during the early war, then revert to a 3-wing organisation. Now in the 45 Campaign I have glimpsed that all US carriers invariably fly 4 air wings again, with the second being composed of Corsair F4U-1Ds ...
