I would pay more too for an upgrade that let you do historical battles in an editor or skirmish mode.

That would be great. I would really like to play historical scenarios.

I'm wondering if it would be possible to select the AIs ships in Skirmish mode. I'm playing Greece against Persia and would like to select the ships for Persia as well. That way I could have a more historical scenario.

I tried downloading the patches and I'm having no problems today. I guess the link was temporarily down. The browser I'm using is the latest verson of Firefox.
