Going back with our discussions over the years of having a CarDiv being 2 heavy and one CVL does the math work out here?

Plans for small CV TFs with say 2 CVL, 4 DD, and maybe a CLAA to be able to cover for invasion TFs at wars beginning.

Is there a particular DD/DE Class that is ASW ...

Lord Howe Island - I would open game as Allies to double check what command it belongs to. It is below Brisbane so unsure if it would trigger Aussie emergency reinforcements. It is relatively close to the mainland, sir.

Gilberts - Tabby get a full division at some point and for the Marshall, Ailinglaplap gets the same treatment.

Just bomb the AF to destroy supplies. He gets 350 Chinese Rifle Squads per month. You have to get the math in your favor (destroyed squads in combat vs those 350/mo).

Got to build up AF at Ichang and bomb Chungking to destroy supply, Admiral. Cannot allow him to have enough supply there to take about 12 to 13 rifle squads per day into LCUs there.

I'm playing the prior version of BTS Air vs 1Eyed Jack (Mike) as Allies. He was my first PBEM opponent way back when, We are in early Sept '43 and needless to say, the Allied war machine is rolling. :D
Except for the CVL that began the war around Mindano, no other Allied CV/CVL has been sunk vs 3 ...

On the way back, hit the port of Soerabaja as its the most important port until Java falls in the greater DEI area. Maybe he has the small, but valuable merchants headed for Perth along with some subs there.

This is not John's first attack on Hawaii, so he should have learned what "not" to do. This will hurt the Allies in such that those BBs are great for soaking up CD gun hits when invading. Losing the CA/CLs will hurt more short term. The issue for the Allied player is adjusting his logistics.

I'm in mid-Nov '42 vs One Eyed Jack in the newer BTS Air Mod. I see some warship artwork missing and we could use a list of what is needed as it's mainly for the newer models.

Allied Sig Intel is good but not as good as you may think. It may say where LCUs are located more than what they are prepping for which what the Allied player wants.

Your naval assets may not be what you want, but seeing just two capital warships in that CV TF for the Allies would be concerning for me. Kamikazes will love that!!
Any ability to hit his support ships? ARs have got to be very useful for Allied player this far away from major repair shipyards. Large ...

Just playing catch up by reading this latest page of your AAR. Being relatively early in '44, my concern will be his next jump into Korea to base his bombers to strategically bomb Japan into submission. Lots of bases that terrain will not help the defense. Are you ready for it?
