I've just spotted a book on the same subject of this thread on Amazon. Its called Frontsoldaten: the German soldier in WWII, has anyone read it?

I've only played the longer games to be honest, playing the IJN AI at the moment in one and just lost four carriers to a fleet of seven (count em ) CV's and two CVL's, so I'm kinda getting pissed off with it. If you can think of any reasonably balanced shorter games let me know

There was an old spectrum game called either sink or hunt the bismark, or just bismark that was outstanding at the time. At least thats how I remember it
