RE: Tigers on the Hunt Day --Feburary 25th

<r> I enjoy this game immensely whenever I get a chance to play. It's the kind of game I like: fire it up, jump right and duke it out for an hour or three and walk away satisfied, win or lose. Yes, the game still requires a fair bit of polish but what is there hits the mark; the core is solid, and w...

RE: State of the game?

Whenever I get a chance to play (sadly, not enough -- due to other demands) it is always an enjoyable experience. Plus, the rate of scenarios being generated by other users is amazing.

<r> I think that it's important to point out that it is possible to restrict visibility and access to a single program, i.e. ToTH:<br/> <br/> <URL url="http://superuser.com/questions/349946/how-can-i-share-only-one-window-with-teamviewer"><LINK_TEXT text="http://superuser.com/questions/349946/h ... ...

RE: Tiger on the Hunt Hot Seat

Hi MrsWargamer,
I don't know if you've watched the youtube link that idjester posted above, but it gives a pretty good overview of how a hot seat session between two opponents, sharing a single computer, is conducted.

RE: Tiger on the Hunt Hot Seat

<t> Hi idjester,<br/> I was actually thinking more in terms of network performance, i.e. lag...but I guess you addressed that. So, I take it that your opponent didn't have any complaints in this regard? That would solve the one reservation that I still had about using this type of software to play w...

<t> I used to play SASL quite a bit when I was into ASL about twenty years ago, and would be interested in seeing what you come up with.<br/> <br/> I used to apply the SASL system to regular scenarios, and it seemed to work fine -- though, I wouldn't make any claims as far as play balance went. <t> If I remember correctly, TeamViewer also allows you to only share one window. This not only helps keep the rest of your system inaccessible to your opponent, but optimizes performance for the remote player.<br/> <br/> Again, this is from memory; I used to use TeamViewer years ago, and haven't sp...

I would prefer the jump window to be larger and zoomed in to a smaller scale, in order to give a better overview of the battle.

<t> I remember playing Steel Panthers 2 via e-mail with a buddy of mine, and we had a blast. Of course, in that game the A.I. handled all defensive fire, but it worked out quite well.
