Art Request

Does anyone have art for the Gloster Gladiator? I've spent some time looking for it without success.

RE: Siege blues

<t> I'm not sure that a lack of historical three star generals being killed is an apples to apples comparison for determining if the game is gamey (Isn't the three star rank part of structuring the game more than recreating history?). After all, how many Union three star generals saw combat in the C...

RE: Art Question

<t> It's been quite a while since I downloaded it, so a potentially faulty memory might be in play, but I believe most of it came from various posters on Shep's thread which is currently on about page 4 of the modding forum here or the web page linked to that thread. It's great art, just not so much...

Art Question

<t> I've done some searching without success so pardon me if this has been asked and answered many times. While waiting for a PBEM turn I've started to do some modding. I'm using the AlliedPlanes folder in the art file for individual plane art. I'm not creating my own art, but am using art from a co...

RE: Alternative History for the Historically Minded

<t> If we're looking for additional aircraft, and we're already into alternate history, could additional production be achieved by assuming that, in this reality, Brewster was a well managed, efficient company? It could address the quantity question. The capacity to create more airframes seems to ha...

RE: Shep's Graphical Artwork (Planes, Ships, etc)

I'd be interested in seeing a Northrup N-3PB. Most of the rest of my wishlist has already been addressed.

I'm certainly not a French Navy expert, but Conway's lists her armor as being between 3/4 and 1 inch. It also notes she had slight protection.

RE: 8th Australian Division

<t> Playing against the AI in the Ironman Scenario, I was able to get both Australian Brigades out of Singapore . At that point I thought I'd try a Sir Robin at Singapore and was able to extract both Indian Divisions, III Corps, the armored unit, and several base forces as well. I did a lot of evac ...

<t> Maybe a stupid question, but I assume the allied carrier task forces had fueled DDs so there was no need to refuel during the sprint? I agree that a 10 knot speed of advance does sound slow. What speed of advance would be reasonable for a carrier to maintain while conducting flight ops during th...

RE: Physical Shipment Status

UPS says I'll have my copy today!! I didn't order fast delivery, but I do live less than 100 miles from the Minnesota warehouse. I was listed as backordered until last night.

<t> I've actually seen quite a lot of sub activity. I'm playing Allies in scenario 2 on Hard setting. I'm about two weeks in. Subs have been active outside Manila as well as at choke points exiting the SRA. I've been losing about a ship a day to sub activity as I haven't been as careful as John with...

Among my other books, I received the first and third volumes of "Bloody Shambles". Any suggestions on a place to find the second volume?

<t> Doc, I just don't deploy LCVPs at "home". Send a task force with AKs loaded with supply to where you want the LCVPs and when the TF reaches its destination, hit the "create barges" button in the task force screen. Some of the supply is converted to LCVPs. I've always assumed this simulates shipp...

I think its G1/Takao Daitai. After that unit upgrades, others should be able to as well.

Just out of curiousity, is the absence of the P-51b causing problems for you or are other fighters being produced in sufficient quantities that its a minor annoyance?

RE: P51-B What gives

Terminus has it right, time to move on. Japan is just baiting the forum at this point. He's expressed his view, others have expressed theirs, and we're going to need to agree to disagree.

RE: CAP Question - No TRES

<t> I am limiting the CAP level to try to conserve fighters for the KB. Actually, I'm probably done exposing the CVs for a bit as I'm just about to get Hellcats. That and the fact that a long range escorted Betty strike put two torpedoes into Enterprise (causing only 17 system damage to the Big E bu...
