I downloaded and installed the two drivers you kindly linked to. I have confirmed that my virtual memory is set at 1440, which the O/S claims is the maximum. I still get the introduction, in three parts, then the 'front page' (red bar on bottom) and finally back to menu ...

RE: introduction loop - game won't load

Thank you, Erik. I'll install the drivers you suggest when I get home. I noticed on another thread that you reccomended to de-install the current drivers. Is that necessary, or can I just install the drivers you suggest on top of my existing drivers?

RE: introduction loop - game won't load

Erik,

I can post the data from each tab (nine total). Please let me know if that is what I should do, or perhaps the data you are looking for is on the System Files tab.

Thank you for your timely help, Eric,

RE: introduction loop - game won't load

My video card is a S3 ProSavage. I downloaded the driver 13.94 for it.

My audio card is a VIA AC'97 Enhanced Audio Controller. I downloaded the combo driver 5.80 C.

I still get the loop I described earlier and will post a DxDiag file soon.
