Tracker for multiple games

Post by topeverest »

I have been using tracker for multiple games from the same generic 'save' folder, and I am getting the two games mixed up in the reports.

What are the BDP's around using tracker for multiple games. Should I have different folders / multiple copies in differnt locations? etc.

Thanks.

I make a new install for every game I have. That way there is no interference with save games, Tracker, or Reporter.

I'll echo Nomad's reply.  Since it's a Java application, and the Windows registry isn't involved, it's easy to make a second installation in another directory.

Actually IF I'm not mistaken Nomad is saying extra WITP-ae installations (just copy the whole folder)... Tracker can only handle one game at a time per install.

Yes, I see I wasn't as clear as I could be. I first install the game one time along with Tracker and Reporter. I then make a new complete copy for each game I play.
