Question about rail damage.

Post by Lützow »

Currently playing Road to Minsk, Axis side.

At beginning of turn 2 there are many damaged rail lines in conquered hexes, but only three of those are undergoing automatic repair. However, regarding Commander's Report I own 59 construction battalions and toggling through HQ's I see plenty of them in range. Why do the remaining constructors slack?

Not every construction bn repairs the rail, they are adding a lot to fort construction.

Sorry that your question wasn't answered yesterday, there are so many questions that it's almost a full time job to answer all of them.

As I explained in another thread, the automated battalions will only repair/convert one rail hex along a certain line each turn, so if hex A is a friendly rail line, hex B next to it contains a damaged friendly rail line and hex C next to hex B contains another damaged friendly rail line, the automated battalions will try to fix hex B, but will not fix hex C until next turn.

FBD and NKPS units can repair multiple hexes along a line each turn.
