Is Support Level still needed

Post by Chris21wen »

While carrying out my morning ablutions I gave the support system some thought. I beleive the initial concept of being able set how many support units an HQ could receive was use to give control over how many units the automatic support system gave to any HQ. Locking simply prevented the movement full stop. This in turn relieved the huge pressure on AP usage to move support units manually. It worked OK but is frustrating at times.

In the latest Beta movement of support units down the chain of command is free (rightly so in my opinion) so drastically reducing AP use to move support units manually. In so doing you have removed the prime reason for the automatic movement of support units.

This brings me to the movement of engineers/contruction units. We all know that they will move even if an HQ is set to zero which has lead to some even more frustrating times on my part. I never like this ability and for the same reason as above I think this is also no longer needed.

There is one place where I do think automatic support movement is valid and that is the movement of AA units to cities.

Please discuss.
